WHAT HAS THE WATCHTOWER ORGANIZATION CLAIMED ABOUT THE INDEPENDENT BIBLE

“Thus the Bible is an organizational book and belongs to the Christian congregation as an organization, not to individuals, regardless of how sincerely they may believe that they can interpret the Bible. For this reason the Bible cannot be properly understood without Jehovah’s visible organization in mind.” (The Watchtower, October 1, 1967, p. 587)

So, how can you read the Bible “independently” since it belongs not to “individuals” but to the “Organization”?


In other words, how can you be free reading the Bible for yourself when you are GUIDED how to do it ,doctrinally or else by a religious organization and its authority?
