WHAT HAS THE WATCHTOWER ORGANIZATION CLAIMED ABOUT THE INDEPENDENT BIBLE “So we Read” in the Watchtower October 1, 1967 “Thus the Bible is an organizational book and belongs to the Christian congregation as an organization, not to individuals, regardless of how sincerely they may believe that they can interpret the Bible. For this reason the Bible cannot be properly understood without Jehovah’s visible organization in mind.” (The Watchtower, October 1, 1967, p. 587) You may see the original here- https://www.witforjesus.org/downloads/english/pdfs/jehovahs-witness/bibleread/wt10-1-67p587.pdf So, how can you read the Bible “independently” since it belongs not to “individuals” but to the “Organization”? In other words, how can you be free reading the Bible for yourself when you are GUIDED how to do it ,doctrinally or else by a religious organization and its authority? Understanding the Calling of the Israel of God and the blessing of all the families of the earth "There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called" (Ephesians 4:4,NIV) "After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands" (Revelation 7:9) True Christians espouse a foundational belief rooted in the biblical concept of the "heavenly hope," an idea central to their doctrinal framework. This belief emphasizes the notion that Christians are called to a higher, heavenly calling, distinct from earthly aspirations. A principal scripture reinforcing this belief is found in Philippians 3:14 , wherein the apostle Paul speaks of pressing "toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."

QUESTIONS FROM OUR READERS! 13/5/2024 Who do you think is the faithful and discreet slave? ANSWER : We are going to write some articles about this question as it seems that many readers, the majority of them Jehovah's Witnesses or ex Jehovah's Witnesses want to know what we think about it. So, we are going to give a rather short answer here and later we will include some articles links in this post for the readers to see. We believe that the words of our Lord in Matthew 24:45 and Luke 12:41 are just a parable, applied to the teachers of the Christian Congregation. A parable is a simple story used to illustrate a moral or spiritual lesson, as told by Jesus in the Gospels. The persons in a parable are never real. They are just figures or characters which show Him or His Church (Matthew 5:14-16,Matthew 13:24-30, Matthew 13:45-46, Matthew 18:10-14, Matthew 20:1-16,Matthew 22:1-14,Matthew 25:1-13,Matthew 20:1-16,) or the nation of Israel(Matthew 21:28-32), or even Devil's d

THE TRUE IDENTITY OF THE "OTHER SHEEP" (JOHN 10:16)- THE INCLUSION OF GENTILES IN THE CHRISTIAN CONGREGATION The Meaning of John 10:16 and the Other Sheep of Jesus John 10:16 is a verse from the Bible that has been the subject of much discussion and interpretation. In this verse, Jesus says, "I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd." This verse has been interpreted by some to refer to the inclusion of Gentiles in the Christian congregation, while others, specifically Jehovah's Witnesses, have a different understanding of this verse. The Jehovah's Witness Doctrine about the Other Sheep Class Jehovah's Witnesses believe that the other sheep mentioned in John 10:16 are a separate class of Christians who are distinct from the anointed Christians. According to the Watchtower , 144,000 Christian believers are to rule with Christ in heaven, whil

THE HOUR OF FINAL TRIAL- WHEN? "Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown" (Revelation 3:10,11) Our article is based on the book of Revelation today (3:7-12) and to the message of Jesus to the congregation of Philadelphia. The church of Philadelphia kept its faith alive. As the name suggests, [philos/φίλος (in greek) and adelphos/ αδελφός (in greek)=brotherly affection/ fraternal love] love is the main characteristic of true Christians (John 13:35, 1 John 4:8, 5:3, Colossians 3:14, 1 Peter 4:8, Romans 12:10, Philippians 1:9 ) and thus it is rewarded by the Lord. Jude very beautifully wrote that believers "...may keep [themselves] in the love of God, as they await the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ with the prospect of eternal life" (Jude 21) .

PASTOR CHARLES TAZE RUSSELL AND GOD'S HOLY NAME "JEHOVAH" (Republishing from Watch Tower Reprints R379 : page 2 ) QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS. Ques.--I am told that it cannot be proved that the Hebrew name Jehovah, is the distinctive name for the Almighty Father; but that it is applied only to Christ. Can you give a satisfactory answer to this statement? Ans.[*from C.T.Russell] --It is the opinion of some that the Hebrew word el applies to our Heavenly Father, while the name Jehovah applies to Christ. This is just the reverse of the truth, however. The Hebrew words el, and elohim, are general terms, meaning mighty ones. They are applied to Jehovah, to Jesus, to angels, and to men. (See April No.--"The Word of God.") Not so with the word Jehovah, however. We cite a very few out of the many, to prove that this name belongs alone to the great first cause of all things: Isa. 42:8. "I am the Lord (Heb. Jehovah); that is MY na

Mystery Revealed (Republishing Study 7 from the Watch Tower publication, "The Harp of God" , 1928) A MYSTERY is that which is kept a profound secret. It is something unknown, except to certain ones, being kept carefully and continuously concealed from all others. Jehovah being all powerful can hide or keep secret from every creature, earthly or heavenly, any part or all of his great plan and reveal or make it known at such time as might please him. One feature of his great plan he did keep secret for ages, and it is still a secret to all except a few. . 198 When Jesus was on earth he taught the people in parables or dark sayings. His disciples came to him and asked: “Why speakest thou unto them in parables? He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.” (Matthew 13:10,11) It will be observed that he did not say, ‘You now know the mysteries of God’; but that it was g
